Libraries — More than meets the eye!
Whether you’re upgrading your skills, scouting for knowledge and information, or connecting with other heroic readers, a library card is your key to an arsenal of resources. Spark your creativity as a builder or programmer; mine the library’s stacks and databases for new stories and adventures; kickstart your critical thinking skills to defeat the Decepticons of misinformation lurking online. Hitting the road? Use your library card to fuel your mind with books, e-books, audiobooks, and adventure passes.
Prize Drawing
During the whole month of September, stop by our upper floor desk to enter your name in our prize drawing. All ages are welcome! What’s the criteria? Show us your library card! Whether a new card or old, it’s your ticket into the prize drawing (and of course, SO much more!). One entry per person. The winning names will be drawn the morning of Tues, Oct 1. Do not need to be present to win (we will contact winners using the info on their entry ticket).
Don’t have a card yet? Get started online here. You will need to bring in photo ID and proof of local residency (if not on your ID) to pick up your physical card. Those under age 18 will need a parent/legal guardian present to be issued a card.
